Hi, I’m Nikita.

I’m a fashion-trained creative and the founder of curatedbynikita, a travel-inspired art and lifestyle studio.

With a background in fashion design and over seven years of experience working within the fashion industry, my practice draws on a deep understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and style. Alongside this, travel has become an ongoing source of inspiration - shaping how I observe, collect, and translate moments into art.

curatedbynikita is rooted in the idea that food, place, and memory are deeply connected. The work transforms travel experiences into vibrant, illustrative artworks, each piece beginning with a lived moment - a sunlit breakfast in Sicily, pasta shared in Positano, paella eaten slowly in Deià - and reimagined through colour, composition, and narrative.

The practice celebrates tablescapes as memory, capturing not just what was eaten, but how it felt to be there. Influenced by travel, fashion, and everyday rituals, the work sits between illustration and nostalgia, offering a modern and joyful way to preserve moments worth remembering- because memories deserve more than your camera roll.

Alongside original artworks, I offer commissioned pieces for weddings, engagements, and other special moments, including hand-drawn illustrations for stationery, bespoke paintings, or personalised artworks inspired by meaningful places, shared meals, and personal stories.
